The Jordanian Medical Association in Germany pursues charitable purposes and is accordingly recognized as charitable by the German tax office. The association is independent and financed by membership fees and does not receive any material support, neither from official nor from unofficial bodies. On December 21, 2021, the association obtained a decision from the Dortmund tax office to meet the requirements for obtaining the tax exemption, which also enables the issuing of invoices for membership fees for the purpose of submitting them to the tax office to obtain the corresponding tax exemption.
